The Consulate of Ukraine in the UK does not directly handle pension payments but can assist with verifying and certifying documents required by the Pension Fund — such as proof of residence, identity, or confirmation that the person is alive (“certificate of being alive”). Applicants usually need to submit a written request to their local Pension Fund office in Ukraine and provide certified copies of their passport, taxpayer number, and UK residence proof. These copies can be notarized and legalized at the Consulate before being sent to Ukraine. Pension transfers are then processed through authorized Ukrainian banks or international payment arrangements.
